phpBB - listserver integration

Discussion forums (message boards) and list servers have some things in common. I've often wondered why one software can't do both, but maybe not. So working with what we have - if we have a phpBB forum and a Yahoo list server isn't there some way we could automatically post from the list server to a phpBB forum section?

I'm finding that as our list server gets more popular, that topics are not being entered on the discussion forum, which I prefer for public presentation and research purposes.

Thoughts? Ideas?
