I tried to edit my forum colors but now i struggled with problem above. As you can see in the picture, Bg_list color is different to colors in bottom and left-right side. So, what should I do to make those sides color similar to top (bg_list.gif)?

I can barely bring myself to post this as I know it must be listed somewhere but I just cannot find it via search and I'm cringing at going through all 50+ pages looking for it.

But I'll ask anyway.

How is it possible to display the Forum Icons at the bottom of each page (footer) and birthdays as well.

Sorry :oops:

EDIT: Maybe I should make that more clear, I'm talking about showing what the various forum icons mean, like a legend

Backup any files you intend editing first!

Open colours.css and find:

Code: Select all

.forabg {
    background-color: #0076b1;
    background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/bg_list.gif");
}
Change #0076b1 to whatever colour you want.

There's a mod for that here: [RC] Basic Forum Icon Legend

Thank you much appreciated

Actually Mixstar one more question if I may and I appreciate the mod you linked to is not your own, but this is to do with the way prosilver SE inherits its information.

Should I mod prosilverm (and prosilver SE inherits the changes) or prosilver SE directly?

TIA

Hello All,

I'm a total newb and am having a bit of trouble with this theme and hoping someone can help.. I installed it no problem and found editing the CSS to be fairly straight forward, but it is not displaying any rounded corners anywhere, did I miss something? I tried scouring this 57 page thread for an answer before posting and couldn't find anyone else having the same issue?? :?:

XavierSPL,

Did you purge the cache from the ACP, main tab?

Yes, I tried that a couple times actually.. You can see the forum http://www.nashuapulse.com/community/in ... 485486a82d. The theme did change, just seemed like the images didn't show..

Hmm, strange, try refreshing your imageset otherwise I can only suggest you upload a vanilla version of SE making sure all the files transfer properly including, and especially, the prosilver_se/theme/images. What FTP client are you using?

Replaced both imageset and images directories with clean ones with no change, then deleted style altogether, re-uploaded, cleaned cache, etc.. Still no luck.. :?

Very interesting, I was just looking at the demo styles here and on the default regular prosilver style I just realized that that has rounded corners as well but it did not on my forum when I did the initial installation of phpbb3, that can't be a coincedence - what would stop my site from displaying rounded corners on either style?

First off don't use Dreamweaver it can lead to problems, use something like Filezilla as per: Knowledge Base - Tools needed to set up and customise phpBB

It would appear there is a common denominator at your end, something isn't being uploaded correctly by the looks of things. When you are logged on to your site via FTP you should be able to view the image files as though they were on your desktop, is that the case?
