I would also like to know how to do this, or can we just create a larger banner and use that?

look for file _mg_config.html in template folder (<!-- DEFINE $MG_GLOBAL_WIDTH =..)
You can set it eg to 90% or
1000px ;)

you can set the image dimensions in imageset/imageset.cfg (img_site_logo = sitelogo_small.png*100*300)

sitelogo_small.png =filename
100*300 = HxW ;)

The size change thing you suggested isn't working, no matter what i change it too, it just stays to 100% of the screen width.

I have a super noob question. I DL and unzipped this, went to my FTP through my host (godaddy) and saw my DLed file in my local system, uploaded it into the '/styles' folder of my remote system. It took roughly 4 min and was then in my remote systems folder under the milky way red tag. I then went to my site, logged in and went to my ACP, clicked 'styles' to install it and it wasn't there. What am I doing wrong. I'm clueless to everything and am using different 'Knowledge Base' things to teach me what to do but this has been the first thing that hasn't worked for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Your styles directory should look like this:
  • styles
    • milky_way_red
      • template (folder with files in it)
theme (folder with files in it)
imageset (folder with files in it)
        style.cfg (file)
    • prosilver
      • template
        theme
        imageset
        style.cfg
Make sure it isn't
  • styles
    • milky_way_red
      • milky_way_red
        • template
          theme
          imageset
          style.cfg
Because this (double extracted folder) happens to some people sometimes. ;)

Are you using English or you have a different language?

I must be having a blonde moment, I cannot for the life of me find the edit button on posts made.

At the bottom of posts I have the following icon

delete post, report this post, warn user, information......but no edit button :(

Can anyone please point me in the right direction where it is?

Thanks

I have installed this style and absolutely love it.

On the forum topic menu, visited topics are a dark grey, #44444, while not-yet-visited topics are a really light grey. I do not know how to find and change colors for specific elements inside this theme. The light grey everywhere is too light for many of my members.

Thanks for any assistance!

Hello,

I'm hoping you can help me. I recently uploaded Milky Way Red for a fansite that I am an admin on and we seem to have lost our logout button. Currently, the only way we can see to logout is to delete all cookies then return to the board index.

Is there something that I am missing? Could my image be blocking the menu option? ((I can't see how some buttons would be there but others wouldn't, but I am not a programmer either)).

To see the site and the banner I uploaded, this is the url:

http://uktwilight.freeforums.org

Thanks in advance for any help! :)

PS ___ Sorry for the double post. I inadvertently posted this on the "Milky Way" thread thinking I was in this one.
