I'm trying to add a header with 300px in height but the background red of the top doesn't stretch with it. So I got an image with about 200px out of the red "box" and going over the menu. I tried adding the dimensions at the control panel's imagesets but it doesn't change anything. Help?

Hi,

I'm having the same trouble as another user had on page 2 of this topic. I searched everywhere and tried to rewrite some code but couldn't make it work.

The unvisited links of topics in the forums are light grey and the visited ones are very dark grey. I would love to change that around, but just can't seem to make it work. Can anybody please help me with that?

Another problem I'm having is placing ads AFTER the first post in a topic. I did everything the phpbb knowledge article said, but the ad still stayed BEFORE the first post in Milky Way Red. Please advise anyone.

Thanks a lot!

This is most often due to an incompatible version. The first post of this topic says that it is for version 3.0.3. If you are not on 3.0.3, this is the reason for the missing link. You'll need to update either your version of phpBB or the style to bring them both up (always go up in version, not down) to the same release version.

Thanks I followed the details so that the site desciption now shows in Milky Way Red. However, have the same problem with the dark grey colour. of the site description. Can you explain really simply (yes novice) where abouts to change the colour and possibly the size of the site name text. Thanks

Klortho wrote:Thanks, that helped.... but I found that the color of the sitename and site_description were a dark grey (#444444) that didn't contrast well with the red background. I wanted to change them to white, so I added a couple of character classes. Maybe this isn't the right way to do this, maybe if you have time you can comment. I updated the overall header line as follows:

Code: Select all

<td align="center" valign="middle"><h1><span class='sitename'>{SITENAME}</span></h1><span
        class="gen"><span class='site_description'>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</span></span></td>
And then added the following to the CSS stylesheet:

Code: Select all

.sitename {
          color: #FFFFFF;
  }
  .site_description {
          color:  #FFFFFF;
  }
Which is working for me.

First of all let me say this is a nice looking style, good job with it.

So, heres the problem.

I have changed the online/offline pictures in this style.
But, the size of the online picture is changing, its getting bigger then the original size. Somehow the offline picture is correct and all.
This is how it looks like:

So, where do i change the size of it ?

Thanks.

I got it now.

From the beginning i just placed the "online" file with my ftp-program into the imageset/x/x location.

Anyway, i didnt think about using ACP to change the file.. but then i looked at it and all i had to do were to change the size of it there. Done. Easy as that :oops: :)

hi, I'm from south america, this style is great, but I want to change the buttons to Spanish language, is there a Spanish translation of this style? Where can I get the files to edit from my fireworks?

Thanks

I don't have Spanish buttons yet... but you can use the prosilver ones... they are a bit different, but better than having nothing. :wink:

Alternatively you can try to colorize them here:

http://beta.colorizeit.com/index.php?st ... _prosilver

Make sure you check the Spanish buttons as well...
