Yes there actually is a way. ;)
Just go to styles/proFormell/imageset/ and replace the logo.gif with your logo. If you change the name or file type, just adjust that in the imageset.cfg. Also you might have to adjust the header-padding in the common.css.
Just find this part:

Code: Select all

.header-pad {
	padding-top: 30px;	/* adjust this according to the size of your site logo */
	padding-left: 25px;

}
Adjust the padding-left, to line up with your site description.

Folders not created when uploading

Post by azdbroker » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:51 am

I downloaded the zip folder as instructed and unzipped into a folder called proformell. I followed the Styles upload process you suggested by the recommended link. When I went to admin acp, styles, install the style was listed but when I clicked install a warning appeared indicating there were no templates or imagesets!

So, reviewing the process and looking into the other folders in the styles folder it apepars the during the unzip the themes, templates, and imageset folders were not created. So I created the theme, template and imageset folders and moved the CSS, html, and .gif files according to other folders in the styles menu manually and placed them into these folders. There were additional png, photoshop, and script files left behind in the myforum/styles/proformell folder... these arent in the other folders located in the styles directory so I am not certain where they go.

What is the correct process? The procedure is not as the suggestions in the link to phpBB you recommended. Or else its too late to be doing this!

I would appreciate your assistance. - Todd

Well, usually you just download the zip file into any folder you like and then unzip it using Windows XP or a software like WinRAR. Then you will have a folder called proFormell, which usually contains another folder called proFormell, which you should upload into your styles folder.
The .psd-files and the readme.txt are usually contained in the contrib folder. ;)

phpBB 3.0.2 Proformell Logo Removal from Header...?

Post by AverageJoeBailout » Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:10 pm

I deleted the logo.gif file and also the parameters for the logo located in /public_html/styles/proFormell/imageset/imageset.cfg

But, Damn Internet Explorer still shows the missing image with an "X" in it. Does anyone know how to get rid of this!?!?

I am brand new to phpBB, so please excuse me if this is a really dumb question.

The site is http://www.averagejoebailout.com

Thanks,

Anthony

Looks like you will have to delete the code in overall_header.html

But I'm not getting an X

What IE version are you using :?:

FIXED - Icon User Online.gif not being displayed

Post by tradecart » Sun Oct 05, 2008 10:56 pm

Hi,

I am having a slight problem with the Icon_User_Online.gif image not being displayed in forums. I have selected the 'Hide my online status' option to 'No' and made sure all the files are in their right folders, etc, yet it remains hidden.

I fixed it by adding:

Code: Select all

            <!-- IF postrow.S_ONLINE -->
           <img style="float: right; margin-top: -10px; margin-right: -10px;" src="{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/icon_user_online.gif" title="Online" />
   <!-- ELSE -->
         <img style="float: right; margin-top: -10px; margin-right: -10px;" src="{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/icon_user_offline.png" title="Offline" />

   <!-- ENDIF -->

          <dt>
to the viewtopic_body.html file.

Many thanks,

The online also reappears if you do this little fix:

Code: Select all

Open styles/proFormell/theme/colours.css

Find:
.online {
	background-image: url("{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/icon_user_online.png");
}
Replace with:

Code: Select all

.online {
	background-image: url("{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/icon_user_online.gif");
}
After that clear your theme cache. If you still can't see the online-image try refreshing your browser-cache using ctrl+f5.
