*baffled* Padding in prosilver 3.0.2

Post by *Christian* » Sun Jul 13, 2008 5:52 pm

Well i'm baffled.

Have a look at this:

I'm redesigning prosilver for a friend of mine, but when i try to add a header and a navbar, im left with this 4px gap. I've tried all sorts of thigns to getrid of it, but it's just not going away.

Here's a snippet from overall_header:

Code: Select all

<div class="fpbg1"></div>

<div class="fpbg2"><a href="#">Link 1</a> &nbsp; <a href="#">Link 2</a> &nbsp; <a href="#">Link 3</a> &nbsp; <a href="#">Link 4</a> &nbsp; <a href="#">Link 5</a></div>

<div class="fpbg3">
And the css:

Code: Select all

.fpbg1 {
	height: 147px;
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/fpbg1.gif");
	width: 840px;
	margin: 0 auto;
}

.fpbg2 {
	height: 30px;
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/fpbg2.gif");
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	width: 840px;
	margin-left: auto;
	margin-right: auto;
	text-align: center;
}

.fpbg3 {
	background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/fpbg3.gif");
	background-repeat: repeat-y;
	width: 840px;
	margin-left: auto;
	margin-right: auto;
}
I used the same method for styles such as blueSilver, but with 3.0.2 it's giving me this annoying 4px gap.

Does anybody have a solution? :cry:

I'll send you a PM with it.

Don't really want to make it public :)

I had already made that overall_header change before you replied, just realistic the code was before the opening body tag :lol:

Anyway, the common.css edit did the trick. Thanks Raimon, Bertie sends his love :lol:
