Top banner alignment / size issues?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm trying to replace my top banner (site_logo.gif) for something deeper, and after refreshing the Board Index, the new file is offset to the right by several pixels and has also been distorted to fit the size of the previous shallower banner.

The new 'site_logo.gif' is 1010 pixels wide x 140 pixels high. My forum is also fixed width of 1010 pixels, and is based on a recoloured version of ProSilver.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated. ;)

I've managed to resize it so that it isn't squashed by using Changing your Board Logo within the Knowledge Database here - http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article/changin ... oard-logo/

However, it still appears offset to the right a little?

This is what it currently looks like - the top orange area represents the area of my banner - and you can see that it isn't properly aligned down the left hand and right hand edge. Any thoughts?...
