Which file and which part of said file would I edit to change the boldness/font/size of the bit of text under the title in the header?

in common.css:

Code: Select all

#site-description {
	float: left;
	width: 70%;
}

#site-description h1 {
	margin-right: 0;
}

Hmm. I'm finding common.php, but not .css. Which folder please?

ETA: Found it under the theme, sorry.

/styles/yourstyle/theme/

Make a backup copy of common.css and save it somewhere safe.

Open common.css and find:

Code: Select all

/* Site description and logo */
#site-description {
    float: left;
    width: 70%;
}
You can add and adjust to whatever you want:

Code: Select all

font-size: 20px;
font-weight: bold;
etc.

styles/prosilver/theme/

While editing css files, temporary enable option "recompile stale style components" in admin control panel in load settings, so you would immediately see changes.
