Forum footer help!

Post by Dan27 » Mon May 18, 2009 3:19 pm

Hi,

As you can see on my forum ---> www.djforums.info/phpbb/index.php,
at the bottom it has the grey bar but it has been extended so it well doesn't
look right at all really. What can I do to fix this?

I did put a MOD on and then as soon as a put that MOD it happened, but I did exactly
what it said in the instructions, any help please?

Thanks, Dan.

I suggest checking your edits for the MOD or ask in the area you downloaded the MOD.

Ok, I have done, just wanted to get some help here though because I think it might be something to do with the positioning of the code I edited I think.

Moving to styles, since it's to do with styles.

You can do one of the following instruction:
Css solution:
Find:

Code: Select all

#page-footer {
	clear: both;
}
Replace with:

Code: Select all

#page-footer {
	clear: both;
        width: 787px;
        margin: 0 auto;
}
--------------------------- Or use this one:
Open Overall_footer:
Find:

Code: Select all

	</div>

<div id="page-footer">
Delete:

Code: Select all

</div>
Find:

Code: Select all

<span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
	</div>
</div>
Replace with:

Code: Select all

<span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
	</div>
  </div>
</div>

Try the second one as that fixes the actual cause of the problem :)

But what do I have to edit in that code above to get it to be fixed?

Try this:

Code: Select all

       <!-- IF ADS_7 -->
    <div class="forabg">
       <div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>
          <ul class="topiclist">
             <li class="header">
                <dl class="icon">
                   <dt>{L_ADVERTISEMENT}</dt>
                </dl>
             </li>
          </ul>
          <div style="padding: 5px 5px 2px 5px; font-size: 1.1em; background-color: #ECF1F3; margin: 0px auto; text-align: center;">
             {ADS_7}
