Updating a style from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6

Post by PsychicHigh » Tue Dec 01, 2009 2:49 am

I am looking at updating a style I have downloaded. It was made for 3.0.5 so I was going to update it to 3.0.6.
It is the Dark-Shines style.

Would it be as easy as just copying all the template files from prosilver, or should I go in and update the files by hand? Is there an easier to read format for the update? Like an install.xml as that makes workflow much faster.

I am currently using this style on a webpage with Board3 installer so I am wondering if I should update it to keep the code current or if it will be fine as is.

Thanks in advanced

That text file is all there is afaik.

I would go through it and make the edits manualy and add the additional files as instructed in the file.

Download the 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 code changes from here.

Extract it to your desktop, open the relevant style folder (Dark-Shines is Prosilver based, so open the Prosilver folder). Within you'll find a text file containing instructions on how to update your style to 3.0.6 . ;)
