Logo Box trouble

I am having trouble getting my logo to fit at the top of my board, i have tried center aligning it but there is always a gap at the right hand side no matter how i re-size the logo. At the moment i have it right aligned with the size set so as to give an equal gap each side but it looks awful

i want it to perfectly fit the box provided but also be about twice as deep as my image is elongated at the moment

how do i make it a perfect fit to the extremes of the box provided and how do i make the box deeper?

you really should reduce the size of that image. it is currently 1000px wide and you are stuffing it into a space that is only 850px. Also, it is 400kb in size and takes forever to load.

reduce the size to about 849 wide and then reduce the colors or whatever you need to get the file size down a bit and your page will load much faster.
