To monitor the amount of clicks per image, I would recommend you post a topic regarding this matter in the [3.0.x] MOD Requests forum.

You can however give the statistics of your forum, (number of visitors) to your adverstisers.
These numbers can be given by your webhost.

Hello san3auni!

As Supernova has fixed width, you could open overall_header.html

Find:

Code: Select all

<div id="sn-shadows">
Add above:

Code: Select all

<div class="side-ad"><!-- INCLUDE side-ad.html --></div>
Open content.css and add:

Code: Select all

.side-ad{
	position:absolute;
	float:right;
	top:148px;
	padding: 0 5px;
	width:120px;
	z-index:3;
}
This will place your ad to the far left.

On what side do you want the banner?

Open overall_header.html and find:

Code: Select all

    <div class="side-ad"><!-- INCLUDE side-ad.html --></div>
Replace with:

Code: Select all

<!--[if IE ]>
<div class="side-ad-IE"><!-- INCLUDE side-ad.html --></div>
<![endif]-->
<!--[if !IE]>-->
<div class="side-ad"><!-- INCLUDE side-ad.html --></div>
<!--<![endif]-->
Open content.css
Find:

Code: Select all

    .side-ad{
       position:absolute;
       float:right;
       top:148px;
       padding: 0 5px;
       width:120px;
       z-index:3;
    }
Replace with:

Code: Select all

.side-ad-IE{
	position:absolute;
	margin-left: 965px;
	float:right;
	top:148px;
	padding: 0 5px;
	width:120px;
	z-index:3;
}.side-ad{
	position:absolute;
	float:right;
	top:148px;
	padding: 0 5px;
	width:120px;
	z-index:3;
}
And we'll see how it turns out :)

Modify overall_header.html and overall_foot.html and insert side-ad.html work.
But it cause error when use table in topic.

Add at the bottom of the file overall_header.html:
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" border="0">
<td valign="top">

Add at the top of the file overall_footer.html:
</div>
</td>
<td width="120" valign="top">
<div class="side-ad"><!-- INCLUDE side-ad.html --></div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

Can Sinom explain? If I use <table><tr></tr> in the post, it causes error

{\rtf1\ansi\ansicpg1252\deff0\deflang1033{\fonttbl{\f0\fswiss\fcharset0 Arial;}{\f1\froman\fcharset0 Times New Roman;}} {\colortbl ;\red0\green0\blue0;} {\*\generator Msftedit 5.41.15.1515;}\viewkind4\uc1\pard\brdrb\brdrdb\brdrw5\brdrcf1 \sb100\sa100\qc\lang2057\v\f0\fs16 Top of Form 1\par \pard\sb100\sa100\v0\f1\fs24

and have this below it.

par \pard\brdrt\brdrdb\brdrw5\brdrcf1 \sb100\sa100\qc\v\f0\fs16 Bottom of Form 1\par \pard\sb100\sa100\v0\f1\fs24\line\par \line\line\par \pard\lang1033\f0\fs20\par }

that could easily be the problem. wordpad, word. or anything other than a simple text editor can and will corrupt the files.

I would start over with new files for any one that you opened or edited with wordpad.

get notepad++ or editpad lite both are free ( google for them) and try again.

Not notepad - use notepad++ - see phpBB3 and UTF-8 without BOM
