postprofile

Post by sysz »

Hello mates :D
Let me first say sorry for my bad english, but i hope you understand :oops:

Im trying to add a separate background to postprofile in a post, instead of being transparent and use the same backgrund as the post do (using bg 2 and bg3), the problem i am having now is that the background dont want to stretch like i want it to do.

To show what im talking about, look at the picture
http://i.imgur.com/ORvy3.png

The arrows shows the space that i would like to be removed by stretching the background (#f1eedd) more.
Is it some paddings that i would need to change? or is it something else?

Basically i want the postprofile to look like this
http://old.pokemonforumet.se/viewtopic. ... 21#p326821

This is my own theme that im bulding for the pokemonforumet.se, but since this theme is going to be a suprise to my members i have moved the theme to a seperated forum witch you can find here
http://sailorsweden.net/nyapf

Once again, sorry for my bad english.

In content.css find margin: 5px 0 10px 0;
replace with

Code: Select all

margin: -5px 0 0 -10px;
padding: 5px 0 10px 10px;
margin-bottom: -20000px;
padding-bottom: 20000px;
a few lines below change margin-left: 8px; to margin-right: 8px;
In common.css find

Code: Select all

.post {
	padding: 0 10px;
	margin-bottom: 4px;
	background-repeat: no-repeat;
	background-position: 100% 0;
}
after background-position: 100% 0; add overflow: hidden;
In viewtopic_body.html find margin: -10px 0 0 -10px
replace with margin: -5px 0 0 -10px
find//icon_user_online.png remove one slash.

I am not sure if i missed something or not.

I have a little problem with moving the content a bit more at left, on a big screen there is a space between the content and on the profile side. On a small screeen it looks just the way as i want it to look like.

I have tried both % and px on width in content.css on code:

Code: Select all

.postbody {
padding: 0;
line-height: 1.48em;
color: #333333;
width: 83%;
float: right;
clear: both;
}

Are you trying to make the profile fixed width?

Yes i would like it to be the same width on big and small screens.
Because now it looks ridiculous on a big screen and perfectly on a small screen :D

Move postprofile above postbody.

In .postbody {..}
replace

Code: Select all

width: 76%;
float: right;
clear: both;
with margin-left: 200px;

In .postprofile {..}
replace

Code: Select all

width: 22%;
float: left;
display: inline;
with

Code: Select all

width: 180px;
float: left;
