Serenity style: problem changing the a.topictitle font-weight

a.topictitle {
	margin: 1px 0px;
	font-family: "Lucida Grande", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
	font-weight: bold;
	font-size: 1.2em;
}
a.topictitle, .postbody a {
	color: #2E5B82;
}
a.topictitle:visited, .postbody a:visited {
	color: #44729A;
}
a.topictitle:visited:hover, .postbody a:visited:hover {
	color: #2E5B82;
}
a.topictitle:hover, .postbody a:hover {
	color: #D11010;
}

This is the CSS that I have. I want to change the visited topic-titles links from "font-weight: bold" to "font-weight: normal". I would do this way:

        font-weight: normal;
}

But it doesn't work and I can't understand the reason!

No, that's by default on Serenity.

That is the one that is making them bold

Yes, but if I change that to font-weight: normal it changes even the unvisited topic titles font-weightness. I just need the visited ones to be font-weight: normal. Please let me know if I explained myself correctly.

did you refresh the theme from your admin panel styles tab after making the changes and then refreshing your browser a few times.

shift/reload or shift/refresh or ctrl f5 etc.
