How to make background image fixed?

Post by no_comment » Sat Nov 07, 2015 2:20 am

My board is http://serialenet.ro. My style is X_Silver.
This is from colours.css:

Code: Select all

html, body {
   color: #536482;
   background-color: #667183;
   background-image: url("{T_THEME_PATH}/images/board_bg.png");
   background-attachment: fixed;
   display:block;
}
What do I have to change? Please. :(

   color: #536482;
   background-color: #667183;
   background-image: url("./images/board_bg.png");
   background-position: center center;
   background-attachment: fixed;
   background-repeat: repeat;
}

Have you purged the cache and/or refreshed your browser?

ask in the topic where you got the style.
arty is very good about helping with his styles.

well, I was mistaken about what style you were using. I thought it as one of arty's style but it is not.

it is also way out of date.

the latest version of that style is listed as 3.0.8

also, not sure what you think is going to happen if you get this to work. the way the background image works on that style there is really not difference between having it fixed or not.
the problem is that the images is exactly the same, it is only a texture. also there are several other header and footer images that are sitting on top of it so you will see no difference when it is set to fixed.
