Have a read of the whole post(from the beginning) to make sure what they are talking about.

They are the step by step instructions. They tell you which file to edit and how.

Without at least a link to the board it's impossible to say why it 'doesn't work'.

Whoops, it's for 3.1 not 3.0

I need for 3.0 ...bc we_clearblue is not yet for phpbb 3.1 . It is possible to put those hats on forums without phpbb 3.1 ?

Hey Alex!

This should be relatively simple to achieve. Simply:

1) Download the attachment, make sure it's called 'santa_hat.png' and upload it to: /styles/we_clearblue/theme/images/

2) Open: /styles/we_clearblue/template/forumlist_body.html

Find:

Code: Select all

<div class="forums-wrapper">
Before, add:

Code: Select all

<img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/santa_hat.png" width="49" height="32" class="santahat" />
3) Open: /styles/we_clearblue/theme/common.css

At the bottom of the file, add:

Code: Select all

.santahat {
	position: absolute;
	margin: -15px 0 0 -23px;
}
If you need more room between categories to make the hats look a bit nicer, in content.css find:

Code: Select all

.forums {
	border-bottom: 3px solid #cdcdcd;
	border-collapse: collapse;
	width: 100%;
	margin-bottom: 15px;
	text-align: center;
}
and increase the margin-bottom value.

Let us know how you get on :)

Hey Alex!

As you're using a different santa hat picture, you'll need to adjust the margin values here so that it lines up with the category corner:

Code: Select all

.santahat {
   position: absolute;
   margin: -15px 0 0 -23px; /*  Adjust the values here (order: top, right, bottom, left) */
}
