How do I allow guests to preview templates?

I have some styles I want to release for phpBB3. I have them setup on my website for previews, and I can preview them fine when I'm logged in using the "index.php?style=#" added to my url, but when I logout, that doesn't let me preview the style anymore. How can I allow guests to preview styles so that I may release them?

Open sessions.php and find:
if (!empty($_GET['style']) && $auth->acl_get('a_styles'))
Replace with:
if (!empty($_GET['style']))

why not install this MOD:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 0&t=692625

it puts a drop down menu so people can change styles at will

you can edit the html for wherer to put the drop down plus add whatever you like.

Yes I am using that already in my demo forum, just in my shop I put styleid, before this use this trick, now the line has been updated so guest cannot see per styleid.

the line is now:

Code: Select all

if (!empty($_GET['style']) && $auth->acl_get('a_styles') && !defined('ADMIN_START'))
		{
simply remove:

Code: Select all

&& $auth->acl_get('a_styles')
so that it will be this:

Code: Select all

if (!empty($_GET['style']) && !defined('ADMIN_START'))
		{
