That's impossible when you change the breadcrums.html, with the css class you change only the breadcrums that is showing on every page.
When you change the row:

Code: Select all

<td class="row1">
in breadcrumbs, only the new value counts for the breadcrums file.
And with colours are different , what do you mean with that?

Right i did exactly what you said - 100% positive, even went through it and made sure it was correct

And when i finished and cleared the cache etc the row colours came back like a lightish blue colour, like row1, row2 and row 3

Is there no other way to do it :?:

That's strange, when you change the class with my subsilver2 the breadcrums ar only different.

But lets see and let me see;

first open : /styles/xx/template/breadcrumbs.html

you search:

Code: Select all

<td class="row1">
			<p class="breadcrumbs"><a href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}
inline find:

Code: Select all

<td class="row1">
replace with:

Code: Select all

<td class="breadcrumbscolour">
New you don't have the row1 class, but a new value.
but you see, a new value, new we must also add the new value to the stylesheet :)

open than the file

Code: Select all

styles/xx/theme/stylesheet.css
on the bottom of the file place:

Code: Select all

.breadcrumbscolour {
   background-color: #ffffff;
}
replace the ffffff value to your own colour.

If the stylesheet is stored in the database refresh the theme than.
If din't don't work can you please please let me show what the result is :)

and yes there is a other way, but than it is die hard in the template file, it would be nicer to use the css :P
But normally it must work, because with my subsilver2 it works just fine.

breadcrumbs.html

Code: Select all

<table class="tablebg" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" style="margin-top: 5px;">
	<tr>
		<td class="row1">
			<p class="breadcrumbs"><img src="./styles/aphoticumbra/theme/images/nav_icon.gif" border="0"/><a href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}</a><!-- BEGIN navlinks --> &#187; <a href="{navlinks.U_VIEW_FORUM}">{navlinks.FORUM_NAME}</a><!-- END navlinks --></p>
			<p class="datetime">{S_TIMEZONE}</p>
		</td>
	</tr>
	</table>
<br/>
edit it to look like

Code: Select all

<table class="tablebg" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" style="margin-top: 5px;">
	<tr>
		<td class="row1" style="background: #00FF00;">
			<p class="breadcrumbs"><img src="./styles/aphoticumbra/theme/images/nav_icon.gif" border="0"/><a href="{U_INDEX}">{L_INDEX}</a><!-- BEGIN navlinks --> &#187; <a href="{navlinks.U_VIEW_FORUM}">{navlinks.FORUM_NAME}</a><!-- END navlinks --></p>
			<p class="datetime">{S_TIMEZONE}</p>
		</td>
	</tr>
	</table>
<br/>
Notice I added the style attribute to the td tag? Just change that #00FF00 to whatever color you want.

Should work, let me know. If not, try adding it to the table tag itself. Not enough time to test it out myself.

[EDIT] Don't get in habit of using inline CSS like this, its not 'best practice' but in this case, it gets the job done.

The code I just pulled from your site is not altered at all as of 10-04-07 10:00AM EST

The source from your site... The breadcrumbs.html snippet

Code: Select all

	<table class="tablebg" width="100%" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="0" style="margin-top: 5px;">
	<tr>
                <td class="row1">
			<p class="breadcrumbs"><a href="./index.php">Board index</a></p>
			<p class="datetime">All times are UTC [ <abbr title="Daylight Saving Time">DST</abbr> ]</p>
		</td>

	</tr>
	</table>

You dint add the new css value, ; http://www.prisonbreakchat.net/forum/st ... esheet.css ;)
I see nowhere the css value, without that value nothing changed.

Raimon, Shhh he did too edit it, the link you provided wasn't to the stylesheet his style is using. It must be cached in the DB or something.

http://www.prisonbreakchat.net/forum/st ... =4&lang=en
That is the stylesheet.

Code: Select all

.breadcrumbscolour {
   background-color: #FFB65B;
}
And the site is now working correctly. Congrats.
