With out having to edit your image try that. There may be another way of doing it, but it works for me.

I'm not wanting to shrink my header image, I'm wanting to move it up & to the left to cover the wrap.

I installed it to my local and my header was messed up bad. I uninstalled it and it was still messed. The whole problem is in the socialnet dir in the root. Installed, or not it was still taking over. I had to uninstall again and all was fine. Glad it was on my local. You might go here and get help. Check with Kamahl.

I'm a tester for phpbb Social Network, I have tried to talk to Kamahl about it, he told me that I can take a look at the page source code to figure it out & I just got further confused. So to be honest I have no idea what to do..

This is what i did and i think it will be a bigining to your soilution. I went in the overole header.html and cut all the headerbar code bellow

<div class="headerbar">
<div class="inner"><span class="corners-top"><span></span></span>

<div id="site-description">
<a id="logo" title="Board index" href="./index.php"><img width="1603" height="301" title="" alt="" src="./styles/prosilver/imageset/header_original.png"></a>
<p class="skiplink"><a href="#start_here">Skip to content</a></p>
</div>

<span class="corners-bottom"><span></span></span></div>
</div>

and pested it above the wrap div and all you will need fro there is to play around with you css.

Hi,
How can I change the size of "Site Name" words?!
And also how can I move "Site logo" or "Search box" up or down in a header?!

for the site name, open common.css found in styles/prosilver/theme/common.css
locate or find

Code: Select all

#site-description h1 {
   margin-right: 0;
}
then add the font attributes that you want like font-size, font-weight and whatever you want eg

Code: Select all

#site-description h1 {
   margin-right: 0;
   font-size: 25px;
}
then the small latters bellow open your overall_header.html in your style's template files.
and locate

Code: Select all

<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
<p>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</p>
replace it with

Code: Select all

<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
<p style="font-size:15px;">{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</p>
replace 15 to any desired size of your choice.

for the search box edit connon.css which is found
/theme/common.css.
locate

Code: Select all

 #search-box {
    color: #FFFFFF;
    display: block;
    float: right;
    margin-right: 5px;
    margin-top: 30px;
    position: relative;
    text-align: right;
    white-space: nowrap;
}
play around with margin-top: 30px; by reducing or increasing the px

remember to refresh Can't see changes editing styles? Changes have disappeared?

Hi! I have changed my prosilver header and i have used no repeat code and aligned it to center. But my question is how to fix the image so that no matter what resolution screen i am viewing it, the header image will remain fixed to the width just like that of this forum. The header is always fixed. How to get that ??
Thanks

The image isn't fixed/stretched, the board width is fixed: Fixed width prosilver.

I changed my header image via the headerbar option mentioned on page one by uploading my image to styles/prosilver/theme/images/. However, I cant seem to find a way to make that header image link back to my main page. I have found another method involving saving the image to imagesets and altering <a href="{U_INDEX}" title="{L_INDEX}" id="logo">{SITE_LOGO_IMG}</a>, but I would rather not have to go that route if possible. Is there anything that can be done or am I forced to change everything. My site can be found at www.theblooded.com Thanks for any help that comes my way.
