I tested this out, I removed the phpbb image, site description and search box to see what it would be like and it worked fine except the bottom border is missing. So I re-uploaded the overall_header file I backed up to restore it and it is still missing. It's the ONLY file I edited and I did the refresh thing.. but nothing. What is going on, how do I fix this whether I've edited the header or not?

Once again your help is indispensable prototech, and greatly appreciated. :D
I did make a few changes because I wanted to keep the site description, then I had to get it aligned right because it was overlaying on top of the image, but your instructions were a big help.

Now if you could do a guide for subsilver2. ;)

BTW! Here's the changes I made.

I managed to get the header edited with the exception of one change... The default color of the area where the logo is and search tool is blue...
Where can I change this color as I put my flash header in the box and would like to change the color to grey...

Try what I mentioned in my post above. Change 'repeat-x' to 'no-repeat'. ;)

Edit 1: I could have sworn I saw a post here asking how to stop the image from repeating across the header. It's gone now. :oops:

If you're going to replace the header background with an image that doesn't repeat, then I recommend that you change prosilver to a fixed width. That way you don't have empty space in large resolutions.
