Removing the Forum Name and Description from top?

I intend to use an image at the top of my page which includes the logo and name of my site. Therefore, to have the Forum Name and Description at the top of the page doesn't work.

I already know that they don't appear if you leave the Forum name and description blank, but I don't want to do that. Is there a way to remove these from the forum? Like in the ACP or maybe even the overall header?

I tried editing the overall header.

I removed:

Code: Select all

				<h1>{SITENAME}</h1>
				<p>{SITE_DESCRIPTION}</p>

but the Forum name and description are still showing up.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Clear your forum's cache from the first page of the Admin Control Panel.

would it not be better to add

Code: Select all

display:none

to your stylesheet.css ?

This way the site name and description would still show in your page title and also be indexed by search engines. You just would not see the site name or description.

JohnnyInfamous is not changing the page title, only the displayed headers.
