I'm after something similar... I just need to know which file the header is defined in so i can center it rather than it being aligned left.

Anyone point me to the correct file please ?

In Stylesheet.css all i changed was this:
#logorow {
background: #F8F8F8 url(images/bg_logo.gif) top left repeat-x;
text-align: left;
padding: 0;
padding-top: 6px;
min-height: 70px;
To this:
#logorow {
background: #F8F8F8 url(images/bg_logo.gif) top left repeat-x;
text-align: center;
padding: 0;
padding-top: 6px;
min-height: 70px;
Because all i wanted was the header logo to center.. it should auto adjust its self in the center of the top table on its own.

<edit - bearing in mind, i'm not using the standard template so this could be different to yours>

Heres how mine appears, what do you guys think?

Code: Select all

#header, .row-left, .row-right { padding: 0; }

.row-left { width: 4px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/row_left.gif) top left repeat-y; }
.row-right { width: 4px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/row_right.gif) top right repeat-y; }

#logorow {
background: url(images/logo_bg.gif) top left repeat-x;
text-align: center;
padding: 0;
}

#logo-left {
background: url(images/logo_left.gif) top left no-repeat;
}
#logo-right {
background: url(images/logo_right.gif) top right no-repeat;
padding: 4px 15px 0 15px;
text-align: left;
overflow: hidden;

What style are you guys using as there is no "logorow" I can find in prosilver?.....In kind trying to use "center, auto sizing and so on" seems to goof up my padding at the top and nothing seems to fix it. http://78sentai.org/forum/

The logo left/right is interesting though and wonder if I might be able to apply it.

Ok here's what I found tell me what you guys think.......

In Avalon you have this section:

Code: Select all

/* Header and logo */
#maintable {
	margin: 0 auto;
	background-color: #FFF;
}
#header, .row-left, .row-right { padding: 0; }

.row-left { width: 4px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/row_left.gif) top left repeat-y; }
.row-right { width: 4px; overflow: hidden; background: url(images/row_right.gif) top right repeat-y; }

#logorow {
	background: url(images/logo_bg.gif) top left repeat-x;
	text-align: center;
	padding: 0;
}

#logo-left {
	background: url(images/logo_left.gif) top left no-repeat;
}
#logo-right {
	background: url(images/logo_right.gif) top right no-repeat;
	padding: 4px 15px 0 15px;
	text-align: left;
	overflow: hidden;
}

In prosilver, they have this section (which includes logo) in common.css:

Code: Select all

/* Main blocks
---------------------------------------- */
#wrap {
	padding: 0 20px;
	min-width: 650px;
}

#simple-wrap {
	padding: 6px 10px;
}

#page-body {
	margin: 4px 0;
	clear: both;
}

#page-footer {
	clear: both;
}

#page-footer h3 {
	margin-top: 1px;
}

#logo {
	float: left;
	width: auto;
	padding: 20px 0px 20px 0px;
}

a#logo:hover {
	text-decoration: none;
}

Think I might be able to insert the logo info from avalon into prosilver replacing what is there?.......What I'm trying to do is get a logo that spans the width of the page to both center, and fit vertically. Currently, if I don't have it set to left, I lose the vertical positioning ability. In kind, it's not automatically adjusting for width, so though perfect in 1024x768, in say 1600x1200 it all shifts to the left and does not resize whether I tell it left, center, or right for position.

Thanks for the input,

K2
