Hello,

I've been trying to adjust the color of .aforebg for the past hour... attempting several things, such as adjusting the .headerbar, uploading colours.css via FTP, changing it in the phpBB system, refreshing the styles/themes/etc, but I just can't seem to change the "border" color of the forums. I created new images for bg_header.gif and bg_list.gif and they look fine, but the bottom color that extends from the bg_list.gif will not change. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, but it's still got the #0076B1 color (and I can't find it anywhere else in any of the template/theme/style files).

Can someone help me out here? What am I missing?

Thanks,
Kevin

wpucssmagic.css

.forabg
background-color:

change that from what it is to what you want.

remember, much of the style css if being controlled by that css file which is in your wp united stuff.

WP-United was it. I just needed to "link" it again. Thanks! Didn't even think to check that.

These instructions don't work. I already changed the colors in the colours.css style file. But it didn't work.

It also mentioned changing the colors in the bg_header.gif file. However, that file only has a thin blue line. I don't see how changing the color in that image file will do anything.

Am I missing something?

I see a portal page, but have no idea what "trouble" you are having or what you mean by "changed"?

I have now changed them for the portal and the forum categories, but when you go to a topic it still shows blue. I changed the colorcode in colours.css and could not find anything in viewforum_body or viewforum.php, not sure where else to look.

I edit the colours.css:

Hi,

I'm trying to set up my new forum http://www.tbforum.tomburkeonline.co.uk/index.php but would like to change the darker blue outline of all the categories to the blue in my logo which is 7285b3 all the other colours are perfect. :) How do I go about doing this. I appreciate I need to edit the css but which files and which colour should I be replacing?

If someone could point me to the instructions that would be great- i did have a look but couldn't see this problem specifically answered.
