lcarsdata: I've learned to actually setup a test site separate from the main forums. There you can install mods, test them, break things, fix them, etc and not mess with the main site. I learned that after killing my forums a few times when I was first starting out. ;)

Oh, and I did finally get this mod to work. It's amazing how easily having one line off can kill everything. In my case I had two lines joined as one. As soon as I separated them onto two separate lines, the whole bloody thing worked. lol.

It looks like people are saying this works in 2.0.19, and that it works with EasyMOD -- but does it work with EasyMOD on 2.0.19?

I'd like to know a way to disable the email notification now that I've got this cool mod. I don't want my forum members to receive a lot of email, I'd like to have them check their watched topics instead.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi. would it be possible to add the leftmost column that can be seen here:
http://forum.lebanonracing.com/viewforum.php?f=12
that shows the actual status of the topic in the list? as in no new replies or whatever the status is..

here is my watched topic list page:

your second link requires login in, do you have something else?

To here:

It should be pretty easy. Just need to move the template referrence to there.

Find {S_WATCH_TOPIC} in viewtopic_body.tpl. You'll remove the call to that there and place it in:

Code: Select all

 <tr align="right">
  <td class="catHead" colspan="2" height="28"><span class="nav"><a href="{U_VIEW_OLDER_TOPIC}" class="nav">{L_VIEW_PREVIOUS_TOPIC}</a> :: <a href="{U_VIEW_NEWER_TOPIC}" class="nav">{L_VIEW_NEXT_TOPIC}</a> &nbsp;</span></td>
 </tr>
That is code from 2.0.19 (didn't have 2.0.20) subSilver so yours might be a bit different. You'll also have to decide how to actually remove the link from the bottom and how to make it all fit in, especially since the whole code link is built prior to being parsed by the template so the 'nav' class css properties won't apply to it (it remains underlined in subSilver).
