I have installed this MOD as currently available in the database (version 1.1.0, updated: 08/18/03). It's very useful, thanks and congratulations to netclectic!

However, I have one suggestion/request: would it be possible to make the columns sortable? I mean, I would like to click on the column name (for instance "Forum") and get the list sorted by that column. I don't know how to do it myself, sorry.

Thanks!

p.s: By the way, my phpbb version is 2.0.8a and the MOD seems to work allright.

Now I remember... I experienced several problems with this MOD so I removed it. One is that people who had their display configured to 800x600 noticed the screen elongated. Another one, and really worse, is that we have several hidden forums with old topics and people who had posted in those topics could see the topic titles on the watched topics list, which was highly undesirable in some cases.

Therefore I removed it.

I've been playing around with the PHP trying to disable the sending of e-mails when watching a topic. Has anyone figured out how to do this? It's annoying ;(

Hello,

I am Johan from the Netherlands and i hope you can help me.
I have downloaded the mod : Watched Topics List
Only it is written for the style subSilver and i use the style Jenova.
Now all the thigs that i have to do to install this mod is going fine only 1 thing not

thats this code :
#
#-----[ IN-LINE FIND ]------------------------------------------
#
<span class="mainmenu">&nbsp;

#
#-----[ IN-LINE AFTER, ADD ]------------------------------------------
#

<a href="{U_WATCHED_TOPICS}" class="mainmenu"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/icon_mini_watch.gif" width="12" height="13" border="0" alt="{L_WATCHED_TOPICS}" hspace="3" />{L_WATCHED_TOPICS}</a></span><span class="mainmenu">&nbsp; &nbsp;

The thing i have to find is not in the overall_header.tpl ( from the Jenova Templates map) because its another style, only now i really don't now what to do now. I tried looking for: &nbsp; ( i found 2 matches )
but when i placed it after that it got a real bad place on the main screen.

If you can help me i placed my overall_header.tpl on this location :
http://www.johanvogel.nl/OD--Clan/overall_header.tpl

I hope you want to help me to fit this button on a nice spot on my forum but i really don't now what to do.

Thanks for taking your time to at least read this.
Sorry for the bad spelling but i am dutch.

With regards,

Johan Vogel.

Try putting the <a href= ... > code after the line which contains
<TD><A href="{U_PRIVATEMSGS}"

You might edit the <a href="{U_WATCHED_TOPICS}" line so that it looks more like the code in your template. From what I understand from the code in your template, images are swapped when you move the mouse over it. You may want to specify this also for the U_WATCHES_TOPICS line.

Good luck!

Just want to notify you that in watched_topics_list_body.tpl there is a line:

Code: Select all

<td class="{topic_watch_row.ROW_CLASS}" align="center"><span class="genmed"><a href="{topic_watch_row.U_FORUM_LINK}" class="genmed">{topic_watch_row.S_FORUM_TITLE}</span></td>
Might be a good idea to close the <a> tag in the next mod release.

I'm using David Herrmann's Forum Notification Mod v1.4. I don't suppose there's a way to list the watched forums using it is there?

This might sound silly, but I can't find the "watch this topic" button or any similar link on my forum pages. Is there something I didn't do that would cause this or am I just not seeing this?
