Just download, install and run?

Or do we need to do some other tweaks?

I see a mention in this looooong thread of a security fix and the RSS/XML icon. Is there anything else?

You must create link: http://yourforum.com/phpbb2/rss.php :D and maybe (if you want) configure RSS here:

Code: Select all

The "missing link" is no more missing :)

Also the mod works fine and is VERY easy to install.

Long time, no post.

There are a couple of things I'd like to say:
-My e-mail address has changed to phpbb (at) mudmonkey <dot> org
-All those who have been maintaining and contributing to this mod, THANK YOU! I'm really happy to see that it's so popular.

Since I no longer maintain a phpBB installation or this mod, I am willing to either (1) edit the post I have on the first page of this topic or (2) try to convince the phpBB MOD team to transfer ownership of this mod - in order to provide better project status and an up-to-date download link.

If anyone's willing to take over development and support of this mod, please PM me or e-mail me at the above address.

Thanks,
Nate

I am running RSS Content Syndicator on my board. I have 5 forums that are open for all registered users to post and that anyone can read. I also have 2 forums in which only moderators/admins can access. I want to ensure that only the open/public forums syndicate via the RSS feed. I have done some testing and the forums in the admin category do not come through on the feed. Is this a built in feature of RSS Content Syndicator, that is to only distribute content form public forums?
Thanks.

Chris.
