terrible, terrible question from a newbie.......

what editor should I use to edit PHP so I can install this thing? I tried opening it in Notepad and it looks like a bunch of gobbedly-gook. I can see where everything is, but there is no programming structure....

help!

thanks

I found a programming oops. :D
If you look at your 10 Active ones, click on the username in the post to view the profile. It uses the "POST ID" to send you to the profile. It's supposed to be the "USER ID".
Look for this line in your index.php

Code: Select all

'USER_PROF' => $phpbb_root_path . 'profile.'.$phpEx.'?mode=viewprofile&u='.$row[$i]["post_id"],
and change it to

Code: Select all

'USER_PROF' => $phpbb_root_path . 'profile.'.$phpEx.'?mode=viewprofile&u='.$row[$i]["user_id"],
NOTE: I changed ["post_id"] to ["user_id"].

Do anyone know if this will work on a 2.04? cos I've applied a few hacks so its hard to upgrade to 2.06. Also, should post_id be changed to user_id? the verified one is still using post_id..

please help..

I don't see "post_id" being correct.

Thanks sorcerer. Do you see it running on 2.04 fine?

Considering that it's somewhat of a small add-on.. I see it working correctly. Try it, but remember to back up your original script first.

the scrolling is not really nice, in my eyes ;)
can you disable the automatic scrolling an switch it to manual scrolling? or something like that?
