I'm not sure if this mod had anything to do with it, but I noticed that I could not see the edit signature option when i clicked on my own profile.

All your other users have no pb?

If no one can set its signature, check in your ACP if signatures are available.
If you are the only one with this issue, check in your ACP if you have the right to have a signature.

Well, I installed Signature Control. I'm supposed to have new options in the ACP, specifically Configuration, I believe, but I don't. I inserted the code for board_config_body.tpl in the subsilver and Boyz template. I even tried uploading board_config_body.tpl to the global admin subsilver template (Velorum added that when installing the category heirachy mod to save time), but the options still aren't there. Any idea what I could have done wrong? Is the folder I mentioned even the one responsible for adding the new options to configuration?

What about mod (1.2.1)? I assume that would be 2.0.10 complient as well, but after I installed it (using EM), and I'm encountering the same problems as I did before (with 1.2.0):

1) the restrictions I set won't save
2) I can no longer see my signature option in my profile edit (yes signature is enabled)

i have a simple question..

in the instructions, i noticed that changes are made to the subsilver template...do those same changes need to be made to each and every template?

make sure you do the database update....

Upload sig_control_db_update.php to your root directory and run it from your browser...
ie: www.yoursite.com/phpbb(oryour forumsdirectory)/sig_control_db_update.php - then delete when complete. :)

Yes, all of them....

If it asks you to modify, for instance, subsilver/profile_add_body.tpl - you will need to make the same changes on all theme profile_add_body.tpl 's.

includes/usercp_register.php

if ( $error = TRUE && $sig_error_list )

It is an error - big error.

Users can register even empty names.

Correctly

if ( $error == TRUE && $sig_error_list )

This issue stayed 2 weeks from the 1.0.0RC3 to the 1.1.0.
It has been corrected with the 1.1.0 in February.

Update your release with the last one (1.2.1) :)

Hi,

I don't know what else to do or where else to search .. I have asked that before but couldn't fix it.
I run phpbb 2.0.8 and the signature control mod.

This seems to work but when I go to the CP I ca not see the text for the settings.
It looks like this:

Image

As you can see none of the "new" settings created by the mod are visible.
I hae checked the code several times and it was ok.
Any ideas where to change/fix this?

Gwion
