Awesome Mod!!!...I really needed this!

Although slightly useless, I added a tweak to your mod that puts PLUS and MINUS signs in front of the Categories...

LIKE THIS

(if multiple categories could be "expanded" at one time this tweak would have made more sense) but I guess in my old age it makes it easier for me to "view"...and hey, why should all the users get the cool stuff, right?

phpb3an: Nice add-on. :)

...I wanted to make this MOD as simple to apply as possible, while still useful. :)

I haven't looked at your code, but is it a good assumption that this MOD will work regardless of other MODs adding to the ACP?

BTW: Excellent MOD!

Yeah... but you never know for sure.

The MOD script is optimized to work like a charm with EasyMOD, so it tries to avoid conflicts with possible modifications made by other MODs against the same target files. It also comes with some comments for humans, though. :)

Excellent mod. Is it possible to allow multiple headings to be open at the same time - and what would need to be done? While great for overview no matter what I'd love to be able to open more than one heading.

Actually, I'm working on the DHTML Collapsible Forum Index MOD, which is currently in Dev/Beta stages, still trying to figure out how to better deal with the Categories Hierarchy add-on.

ok, this beta MOD already has this functionality. Once finished, I'll try to upgrade the ACP Menu (sharing code between both MODs if possible).

This MOD works great on Firefox, but on IE the links turn into unclickable text. Besides that, on IE, the menus work fine.
"No one can read our Constitution without concluding that the people
who wrote it wanted their government severely limited; the words "no"
and "not" employed in restraint of government power occur 24 times in
the first seven articles of the Constitution and 22 more times in the
Bill of Rights." - Edmund A. Opitz

hmm... I'm not really sure what do you mean by "on IE the links turn into unclickable text". Which links?

It works great for me with several browsers, including IE6. Look at this demo:

Works for you? If so, please check the changes made in your admin/index_navigate.tpl

For example, when I expand the menu "Configuration" is just text- no link.

Here is the code that's inside index_navigate.tpl.

Thanks for your help on this awesome MOD :D

Nope. It reports "Cannot find server or DNS Error".

Have you tested the demo link I posted above? Does it work for you?

Code: Select all

Yes, I've tried the demo, and it works, so the problem must be a mistake I made.

Sorry, I can't follow the code posted in the forum. Please, restore your index_navigate.tpl file and try to follow the MOD script again. Be carefull with IN-LINE actions.
