Just a little fyi.

If you have a lot of attachments....this mod is very sql heavy. 18354 on my board.

Also, Nightrider, your link is missing the sql update to the database.

The SQL instructions are included in the ezDownloads.mod MOD script. AFAICS, the MOD author didn't create a db update file, explaining why he didn't include it in the archive. If you install the MOD using EasyMod, then it can apply the SQL changes to your database for you. Otherwise, you can either manually apply them in phpMyAdmin or use something like the MySQL to PHP Converter to create a db_update file that you can upload to your forum folder and run from your browser...

I don't have this version of the MOD installed in my community but I have helped others to install it. Since the archive was difficult to find, I made it available for others who are searching for it. The archive available on my site is untouched from the one the MOD author provided at the time I found and downloaded it. Hopefully he didn't forget to include anything in the archive that I downloaded...

Weird, I could have sworn there wasn't a .mod file in that link when I first dl'ed it.

It might have stood out more if it had had a txt extension rather than the mod extension. I can understand how you might not have seen it the first time you looked...

I have a version that you can download from here that should lighten the load on the sql side therefore speeding up the loading of the page:

How exactly does one use this thing once it's installed?

I'm a little swamped with other things currently. If anyone would like to take over this MOD feel free to.

I get an error. I've tried to install this with the attachments mod. Before the attachment mod it said no downloads and now i get the message:

Code: Select all

phpBB :

Could not query config information

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1146 Table 'arcadias_phpb2.CONFIG_TABLE' doesn't exist

SELECT * FROM CONFIG_TABLE

Line : 215
File : common.php

I'm a total newbie so please and thank you for you help!

Also - this is what the page looks like now

http://www.arcadiasim.com/1/ezdloads.php

UPDATE:

I created the table and now receive the error

Code: Select all

message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?

http://arcadiasim.com/1/page_tail.php cannot be found.

What do I do?
