Im curious to install this MOD, however, I would like to know if anyone has this installed along with Simple Sub-Forums. Would like to know what it looks like without screwing up my forum.

It would help if you also have the Global Announcement MOD installed to, but not required.

Thanks...

Paffendorf look at the Simple Subforum thread on phpbb.com and I've posted about this and have given a link to the test board for my site. The link will be up for a few days.

Thats sweet and all. But, I dont think it will work correctly with my style, Aphrodite! I would like to use at least the Global Announcements, however, is there any way to have the GA completely separated from the topics? Like the catagories are on the index page. If so, Id like to know which MOD does this.

TIA

Here is the first step in the installation instructions for the above mod
copy includes/functions_separate.php to includes/functions_separate.php

Ok so in the download there is a file called includes/functions_seperate.php. My confusion is with the second part. In my forum/includes/(there is no functions_seperate.php)

Also when I copy code down and say it is supposed to be placed after given clump of code. Do I hit enter to the next line and past it, or do I past it directly after the code?

Sorry again, but i done it,quite proud of meself actually, well sort of.

couple of things, done what was asked.
In normal skin it works, well kind of,it seperates the ann and stickys from normal topics,
but they are together not seperate from each other.

In aphrodiate,it has done nothing,is that right.
which is where i really wanted it.
Help :)

I've properly installed this mod on the latest version of phpbb 2. Well not properly because I get this every time:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '}' in /home/.filimon/rikardob/buffalobassline.com/includes/template.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 48

I'm using the acidtech skin but I've tried it just using the normal subsilver skin and I get the same crap. There is nothing wrong that I can see on line 48. I could post all the unedited code compared to my edited code in a moments notice if needed.

Any thoughts?

It would be best if you posted your edited code on http://pastebin.com/ to save space on the page in this thread. You can get a free pastebin there.

Edited. Fixed the file that was causing me an error, but Ive followed the directions to a T and it doesnt seem to be working for me (as in they actually aren't seperated even though I've changed all of the codes), if there is anyone who can help me I'd appreciate it a lot.

Thank you.

Can anybody possibly take a look at this and explain to me how to get rid of that extra Sticky Topics and Topics lines?

Could you point me to the page number in that thread where this is discussed? I have Simple SubForums installed and a couple other mods. I'd like to know if there'll be a conflict with SimpleSubforums.
