Wow, this is just what I needed... 2 weeks ago. :D
(I was cleaning out my friend database, he had so many old MODs)

Looks like a great tool, can be very useful for to make quick fixes out of tasks that would normally take a few hours.

upload it and test it , working good so far .
i do not under stand the bold part :
If you are locked out of your board, you can have the STK generate a password file (25 characters) for you to use. You must download this file and upload it into the stk/ directory on your server. Once the file is uploaded you can login using the secondary login (as long as you are not logged into phpBB3 already). The generated password file expires 6 hours after creation and you will need to generate a new password to use this login method again.
also , can we change the name STK of the folder ?

Its a way to login to the toolkit if you can't login to phpBB itself anymore. If you go into the stk/ without being logged in you'll see the login prompt. Under need the login part you'll find a text saying:
If you aren’t able to login to phpBB at all you can use the internal authentication method of the support Toolkit. To use this method you must generate a new password file.
Click on the link in that sentence and you'll be brought to a page that generates a 25 character long password for you. You must download this file and upload it the the root of the Support Toolkit on your server (default "stk/"), if you now hit the toolkit you'll get a different login screen where you can login using the just generated password. As a safety precaution you can only use this password for a limited time frame, which is long enough to fix whatever is broken.

No in this version this isn't possible (without changing the code in stk/index.php).

When I test a board database, which has two languages installed before, at localhost, if I don't copy second language files to vanilla phpBB3 test folder, board gives error because of missing language files.
Does STK also fix this by removing additional languages database entries and also setting user lang to default En. In case those language files are missing, this can be helpful..
I abandoned all of my mods.

Let me see whether I've understand you correctly.
So you have a fully operational phpBB installation with multiple languages on it, now you upload a new file set to the same server and change the config.php so that it connects to the old database? This triggers an error as the additional language files aren't available. (I can't test this at the moment as I don't have a setup ready for that).
If so we indeed can add a new emergency tool to check this. Please file a bug report for this. I do however not think we'll add this for 1.0.0 as we're thinking of rewriting the emergency tools section to be more flexible and less hacked in the toolkit for the next version.

I wanted to test it, but when I put the /stk folder in me root and go to mywebsite.com/stk it says:

Code: Select all

Connection refused [ 111 ]
I know this is a support question but I only wanted to test it and now I get this error :?
