well my first post got done for spam....does anyone want to see how ive used this mod as a functional paypal shop? that works without bugs??
belt me an email and i'll send you the link....apparently the link to my shop here is spam....

Cool, nice looking mod you did to it, maybe you could post the files to me if you want to?. So then i would have 2 different styles i can look at and maybe take a bit form both

nice mod so far!

please could you:
- remove those desktop.ini-files in your zip-file
- CHANGE the table-name in ppshopcats.php (line 53) [For what reason did you define PAYPAL_SHOP_TABLE if you don't use it? I for one don't use the phpbb_ prefix]
- change your install-xml-file so that it fits the standards? not a single "FIND" can be found if you continue to have spaces there instead of tabs =/
- work with TABS rather than spaces in your php-files - believe me, you will prefer it after a while!! (1tab=4spaces, see phpBB defaults)
- is the imageset-refresh necessary? I didn't see any change for the imageset. in this case remove the DIYS for imageset
- separate the paypal-item-images from the paypal-buttons
- create upload-function for the item-image inside the ACP
- make the item-image delete on removal of the item
- create some kind of permissions for the module (only one of my admins is responsible for the fanclub and the merchandise that is supposed to be sold on it soon)
- change the GET-variable-name for shop-categories from "mode" into "category", else it could be misleading

one question: is this mod abandoned? I mean.. no update in half a year is quite something..
I'm just asking because I am in need of a decent paypal-shop soon and if you're going to tell me you are not working on it anymore, I will definitely need to continue what you've started.

I used the cart with phpbb3 submerged theme and got some funky stuff. The phpshopcats_body is all jacked up. LOL. S

Thanks for your opinions. No, the mod is not abandoned. I just need to contact the other developers again (as need help with most things, originally started as a HTML only mod).

No doubt its the funky nature of the submerged theme. But I'm stuck with it, site mods and a coppermine bridge make it happen capin. I find prosilver so "yawn" boring it's hard to look at. R

On a further note; you made a nice cart mod for phpbb3 that no one else has. I do appreciate your hard work. Nice job on sharing too. Running thru paypal is the only way to do it unless you want to pay monthly fee and run ssl.

You might want to lend support to ppl and charge to fix their lacking skillz, hehe.

So intall it manually then and look for the edits. They are there.

Some of the finds might have the wrong spaces in them or something weird like that and automod wont find them. The number 1 reason I dont use automod. Plus, My forums have like 30 mods so never works to well after a few mod installs it seems like.
