Hello...
The feed works when I use this MOD on my computer(localhost), but there's a trouble on my website.
See my forum : http://www.iyoiye.com
it can't show feed on :
http://www.iyoiye.com/forum/rss.php
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php?mode=topics
http://forum.biliardoweb.com/rss.php?mode=posts
seem like it a lookup error, but I can't find where the mistake is...
Does any one has an answer?

It done well on :
http://www.iyoiye.com/forum/rss.php?mode=forums
and working too on the Per-Forum Feeds & Per-Threads Feeds

I use MSSTI_RSS_v109 with prosilver templates, should I upgrade this MOD to a new version (MSSTI_RSS_v121)?
The most feed I want it work is on: http://www.iyoiye.com/forum/rss.php
Help me please... Image

HI 710 :
I strongly recommend update to version 1.2.1 !

1) Possible problem on iyoiye.com :
Try to use 0 or 1 for Max length of post text to display ( 0 means "No cut ", show all text, 1 means no text. )
Also adjust the amount of items to show, to a lower value

2) On forum.biliardoweb :
You didn't upload the files ;)

Greetings,

Getting an validation error on the RSS feeds created:

line 1, column 1: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:1: not well-formed (invalid token)

Thinking I am missing something very basic here... Can view feed in browser window, but feedburner/igoogle aren't happy with it.

Your board is so new that only have 3 post in total, 2 on Aug 28, and 1 in Aug 22.

Give it a chance when you have more activity ;)

Please tell me : did you do any change into the root/rss.php or into the root/styles/rss_template.xml because the error is BEFORE the first character and it's only possible if you have a bug somewhere :|

Nope, just uploaded them.

rss.php has a date of 07/31/09 on it, and rss_template.xml has a date of 06/03/09 if that's any help.

Thanks for narrowing down the issue, figured it might be a weird one, although I was hoping it was something I did like adding a whitespace in somewhere to the edited files.

I'll keep poking around.

That's my suspicion too, the best I can do is review your edited files, if you can made a .zip or .rar pack with your files related to this mod and send me a link.

Thanks for the offer, but I believe I found the issue. Well, not really, just cleaning up the edited files. Seems to be validating now.

penultimatepost.com

That is my site. I tried to uninstall 1.0.9 using automod and install 1.2.1 using automod and it has all gone wrong.

I would really like to get my site so it has a working rss feed and remove the stuff that is messed up without having to start over.

I tried a restore but apparently I did not back up correctly so I have place to go back to.

Please help me. I am desperate to get this fixed.

I think I have cleaned RSS 2.0 off my whole board - I think.

I had 1.0.9 working but it did not work with google reader so I was hoping that 1.2.1 might work.

I have backed up the database so I hope I can restore back to this point again.

Sorry for the panic but things got ugly there for a minute.

I can still use any help or advice anyone can offer.

It's supposed that all approved Mods should work with AutoMOD, I have no idea, I don't use it 8-)
