now this sounds like a much better version of the M-Chat, I'm subscribing.

Don't know if your planning on adding this feature or not, but are you intending to include a pruning feature of some kind? be it a click of a button in the ACP or a automatic prune setting after x days to keep your database nice and clean.

Also, I see that it's fully permission controlled, but to save settings what about a quick banning feature being added? so you can ban certain users who abuse the chat without fiddling with their permissions?

I'll be watching closely

Thanks, Stoker, Djs596 and Rich!

IMO, the pruning feature is really the only thing left to do. It's a pain to do it manually with phpmyadmin, and the all-or-none option is worse.

At the moment you can just use the user permission in ACP if you want users or groups disallowed in the chat.
No reason for going to phpmyadmin for that.
Or you can create a group and set mchat permissions to no.
Then you just have to add users to that group for disallowing them access to the chat.

Oh I just remembered, I forgot something...It would also be great to see a who's chatting/on-line option similar to what handyman's chat was like...Don't know if you would plan to add it or not.

I know originally it was going to go in, but never got added in the original version for some reason as I really like that feature

Could you possible include the userlist (just the bare userlist) into a seperate <div> on the side, like Handyman's AJAX chat?
