AutoMOD Recommended.

Features:

New avatar option in UCP
Enable/disable in ACP (config added)

Modification Download: Use download from MODDB

Notes: Tested and works with AutoMOD, language has changed since RC1, any (re)translations would be greatly appreciated. There is no update path from RC1 to RC2, so if you started with RC1, please reverse the installation and install the newly updated one.

hell yeah....

i love wordpress sites bcuz most of them have gravatar support plugin...and i like to have same avatar in almost all the sites/forums.
will be waiting for this one to release

Probably just like any other avatar

. Gravatar is a service that takes your email address and returns the corresponding avatar to the requesting system. No need to setup anything at the client site, simply create an account at the gravatar site with your mail address and you are good to go.

Also, more then likely there will be an option in UCP to enter the email you used to sign up for Gravatar.
Gravatar is more or less used by bloggers. so that their avy shows up when they post comments on blogs if the bog supports gravatar.

Hope I got some of that right.

I was going to try this, but would rather have some control in the UCP over which email address to use for Gravatars, whether to use the gravatar or a "local" one etc..

if you can use the code from this as a start, and add some control panel goodness - that would make a truly awesome mod.

I don't know how far you are on this MOD but a couple of days ago I had to write a gravatar integration. If you want I can send you the class that I've written for this.

Sure I can do that though it won't help you much on phpBB its only a class to build the gravatar thingy

, no phpBB stuff included.
