PHPBB's official blog software

Post by orexio »

Hello everyone,

I am trying to start a blog to run parallel with my PHPBB3 forum. It would be great if there is a blog software from PHPBB team if it doesn't please advise which one is fully or best integrated blog software.

i am not good working with PHP thing WP-United is difficult for me to work with.
i have installed Wordpress Single Sign on plugin but unable to configure the PHP files.

i dont care how to blog looks but should be integrated specially in authentication matters

thanks in advancec

There is a blog MOD which you can find in the MODS databse within this site.

There is also a Blog System in development - it's in the MODs Development system. The Blog used on this site is Wordpress, with a plug in and i think some custom code to use the phpBB Users Database. It might be available I'm not sure. A quick search should yield those results :)

The plugin is the one on WP's plugin site. The prosilver theme it uses was done by a team member and is not available.

At this moment there aren't any plans to release the style to public, its been written by the phpBB group exclusively for this site.

in PHPBB/BLOG integration case No plugins or Mods work well or the way it should. in every new version launch we need to mod it again.
So i am desperately waiting for PHPBB to launch their own blog with full and official integration. I have decided PHPBB forum is my priority and blog is choice.

There won't be an "official" phpBB blog, the devs can use their time better for developing phpBB than developing a completely different software package.
You can however have a look at the User Blog MOD
