Apparently it's supposed to let you share your AdSense revenue with other posters on the board.

This mod allows posters to share AdSense revenue. After posting a minimum number of posts, and filling in their Adsense revenue, 1/2 the Adsense ads shown for their posts will be with their ID.

It is legal with Google, and I have it on my forum but this may not be for everybody.

With this mod you can set the enable/disable revenue sharing, set the minimum number of posts needed to contribute (My Bling forum is very small so I set it 10).

Also most of the work is done in the new added files. Because there are additional setup screens, this doesn't give exactly as much integration but it will be much easier to update in the future.

Google OK'ed

I just got an email back from Google stating that they do not prohibit AdSense revenue sharing. They went even farther as to say that if their is a problem with a specific page, they will notify you instead of just booting you out of the AdSense program. This is a very good thing by Google.

What exactly is the advantage of sharing revenue with your users? I'm not being a smart ass, merely curious before I decide if it's behoov of me to intergrate it.

One of the good things about sharing your revenue is that it can help on a community website. EG. I have a small rugby website. it gets about 6-10,000 page views a day (human views) with between 400-1000 posts (rugby is a seasonal game hence the range).

I am looking at installing the revenue sharing mod because then each club can have their own share of revenue to buy kits or equipment.

Will this mod allow you to share revenue with a group of people specifically?

For example, I am considering a site made up of a number of forums for various organizations. If I put AdSense on a forum, can this MOD help me share revenues with the organization instead of with individual posters?

Thanks.

As I have thought about it, if you are going to split your earnings with an organization, you would simply need to figure their share from the overall earnings of that particular forum.

Does AdSense calculate earnings on a particular site or is it a lump sum for all your sites combined?
