Popup Layer on New PMs

Greetings, i have a question... How i can make it works for administrator account? for my users works fine but for my account no work D:, what can i do?

cool mod, we had to figure out the color background and change it for our site but it's much better than the default setup.

How to remove detabase changes (I installed set_popup.zip addon)?
I reload all my edited files back but still every new user gets a pop up when he/she gets PM..

I have to say that i love this mod ^^)!. it's much better than the default "new pm" system...

But, I had an error.

the new pm layer works! i can read teh new PMs...but i can't close the new pm layer o.o)!!!..I mean, when i click the "close window" link it supossed to close that layer, but instead it just bring to the top of the forum (#)

I don't know why it happens...it used to work like a charm but when I installed [ulr=http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... t=ultimate]UPS (Ultimate Points System)[/url] and Arcade phpBB, it don't work anymore T_T. I mencion those mods...because i don't now which of them broke this mod.

As I know, the files where this mods colapse are includes/functions and style/theme/overall_header...I forgot to bring those files...but i'll bring them the next time!

I have a similar (maybe same, above post is difficult to understand for me) problem as above poster.

The opacity fade does not clear if you choose not to read new pm.. you have to refresh page to do so.
reading new pm clears it, as i assume, because you reload a new page.

Also have Arcade 1RC9 and the excellent gallery by nickvergessen

Besides un-installing either of these mods to test (argh) do you have any suggestions?

To the end of the close window link in overall_header.html , like so.

I installed this mod with automod, and with prosilver it took over the entire screen it wasnt a popup. I went to uninstall it and automod again said everthing was fine. However, now whenever a user has a new PM the thing still appears but it doesnt say anything, just "close window".

I have followed the install.xml file backwards manually to uninstall everything. And everything added by the files is removed and the added files are deleted. However, I still see the image attached!

Help me please!

Nice try Robster...but didn't work at all for me.

My problem is that the pop-up layer doesn't close when I press "Close this window"...it just get me to the top of the page (I mean...to: "#"). When I put the mouse over it...it says "mydomain.com/forum/#".

The only way to close it is by refreashing the page (F5), or reading the PM...

PD.- for diego 898, it should be better if he brings the entire code in "overall_header" in prosilver template...maybe he installed it twice with automod (sometimes...it do that)...

OK, so now I have it installed, and get a pop up layer when I have a new PM. What I don't get is any test that explains why I have an opaque screen with a box in the middle, nor do I get any buttons to click to take me to the message itself.

Now I see in overall_header.html, that the edit:

It looks for it in the Language files, also {L_CLOSE_WINDOW}...make sure you edited the language strings ^^

Hi,

Is somebody using the mod "Welcome PM on first login"?
It seems that this mod (popup layer) is not working with the "welcome pm". No window appears with Firefox or Internet Explorer.

I think that it doesn't work because you have to enable the "pop up on new layer" in your profile manually.

But, if you're a new user, that option is not the default (i think the default option to recieve new PM's is "send a notification in e-mail")...

Is there anyway to have "Pop up on new PM" as the default option?
