This mod has no file edits, only file uploads

The problem only occured with this one user. Before and after was no problems.
I dont know what triggered it.
But it would be nice to stop the PM's from coming again and again.

I had the same thing with the first user who donated after we updated to 3.0.6 -- Then it finally stopped close to 20 and it's never happened again.

Just weird.

I had this happen once with the Welcome PM mod... it was an isolated occurrence and ( to my knowledge ) only happened once. I'm not sure what could have caused it.

And modify it there.

Login to your ACP and browser over to:

Code: Select all

ACP => System => Language Packs

1. Click on the language pack you wish to edit.
2. Choose paypal_donation_mod.php from the drop down.
3. Then edit the values as needed.
4. When finished, click either submit and upload file and provide your FTP details OR click submit and download and upload the new file to:

Code: Select all

/path/to/phpbb/language/your lang/mods/

My current requirement is - I am looking for a simple MOD that allows Admin to set an amount to be paid by users to join a particular group and accepts payment via paypal. Users should be added to that particular group automatically on successful payment. Can the current version of this MOD do this for 3.0.6 board ?

It works with 3.0.6 but there seems to be an issue a fair few people are suffering(Multiple PM's/emails depending on which you select to verify the donation being sent rather than just one).

Yes, that is applied in the ACP Settings for the MOD. It’s designed to do that.

Thanks for your kind reply. Since you are the developer of this MOD, can you please confirm if it works fine with 3.0.6 board. I am just concerned bcos the first post shows that this MOD was last updated around 1.5 years back. So does that essentially mean that it has not been updated since then ? Pls excuse my ignorance.

I've installed on 3.0.6 and working fine so far, will report any bugs though.

Great mod, when are you planning on releasing a RC version?
