I'm getting this error when doing the SQL query;
SQL query:

ALTER TABLE phpbb_forums ADD forum_post_tpl TEXT NULL

MySQL said: Documentation
#1060 - Duplicate column name 'forum_post_tpl'
How would I go about fixing this so I can use the MOD? :)

It just means the query has already been run. You can ignore the error.

We love this template on our forum but are concerned about losing it if we upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6.

Can anybody tell me if it still works under 3.0.6 and if so does it need reloading if it does work.

Cheers, Neil

I upgraded from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 and my template is not showing. I used to have an image in the background on the posting page when people would post a reply. It's gone now. I did get the SQL error previously posted in this thread but did run the correct query and got a duplicate error, so I do not believe that is the problem.

Any ideas?
Thanks!!

Hey Evil,

this is a great mod, but a ran into this problem installing it on a new 306 board.
I have run the query with the default still in there, but the quotes gone. Should i change that or not? cause it seems to work on the forums and mysql (i think its 5.0.1 ....) accepted it without a problem so....
just curious, but could you update the installer file please?
Regards,
Martin

I've not had any time for my MODs for ages. I'm quite busy, but hopefully I get round to renewing all of them some time.

Thanks evil ... we all hope you get some time soon to update this MOD for 3.0.6 as it seems some people are having problem running this MOD on 3.0.6
I am scared to test it on my live 3.0.6 board.

The only issue is the SQL, to which a fix has been issued.

Ok, but it keeps working when you have installed this mod on 3.0.5 or before and updated then later to 3.0.6?

Yes

Im only using this mod on one sub forum, called welcome to the forum.

My topic template is this.

Username:
Country:
Experience:
About you / welcome message:

Would simply like in the subject this, and please not {USERNAME} would be the posters username:

{USERNAME} has joined the forum. Please welcome them.

I dont see much wrong with having 1000 topics like that
