yes it's the module from the drupal site.. what I mean is earlier this week I could use a name from BEFORE I installed the module into drupal and it worked automatically in my phpbb forum
But I changed my forum because the links from it on my phpbb-blocks in drupal didn't work.. and now those names don't work anymore in phpbb (mind you I created a new forum)

I was able to do the user integration but was not able to embed the phpBB forum into the Drupal site as part of it like the way the coder explained in the module.

Also the topic in the Drupal website is not much helpful for anything you may want to do.

One last thing you should take into consideration is what if this guy stopped the updating or supporting for this module? are you able to do anything to let it work or you will screw your website or get under the risk for having an outdated software.

What I am about to do is to use phpBB with Drupal without integration, or to use Drupal for the whole website without any 3rd party and use the advanced forum module side by side with other modules like the following:

http://drupal.org/project/Modules/category/56

I understand, phpBB for me is really the best out there including those paid forum software but it is all about your needs. But do you mean the normal core forum module or the advanced with other modules I've mentioned!?

Even with some modules, Ive even tried drubb
Well I find drupal's forum system confusing to start with
The search doesn't work great either.. how do you find a topic or post by a user?
Or maybe that's just me

Don't worry about the support... this guy also does the Vbulletin to drupal module and is still supported.

Look guys, i will convert the included patch file to a modx file so users can embed phpbbb and drupal, but this will take a few weeks to do and make sure it works. but please note that i don't give any support if the embed thing is not working, i'm only making human readable instructions ;)
