You can use the patch-files, but I would only recommend that for reference. Use the auto-updater and manually check for conflicts if there are any. additionally, you can refer to the changed-files-package for language and style-changes.Techit wrote:What package are other people with heavily modified boards downloading?
I keep seeing references to the automatic update and modifications, but I dont know if I trust the automatic update and modifications.
Is there any files that are like the mod xml files? (find, replace...)
I'll give the auto updater a try and see what happens (just backing everything up as we speak)updown wrote:You can use the patch-files, but I would only recommend that for reference. It's that way for any *NIX operating system, FYI. Those files will appear as hidden in Linux, too.gtrfrkbob wrote:It seems for some users there were errors with uploading the .htaccess files. I would guess that these users were uploading from a Mac.
In the future, when there are any files that start with a ".", they should be included as documents somewhere as well for the Mac users. Any file that starts with a period on a Mac is automatically a hidden file.
Thanks, and excellent first release.
