Hi,

phpBB 3.0.7-PL1 is here. Read the announcement and then feel free to discuss.

Note: The mirror (ohloh) will be updated in about 24 hours, release and update packages are served by phpbb.com at the moment.


Please do not post support requests in the this topic. please post them in the support forum

I've updated (although I didn't have feeds enabled AFAIK).
Good to know phpBB treats security fairly seriously.

While it is regrettable the issue ever made its way into a release, for those interested the bug was reported under 9 hours before we released. Bug #PHPBB3-58595

If we do just the manual file edit provided, where and what do we change so that the ACP knows it has been updated stops reporting the red outdated warning?

Run install/database_update.php to update the version number. Quick and painless.

i don't use feeds, but fixed the file anyway ;)

Thanks for the almost immediate fix for such a high security issue. That's what's great about phpBB... security is taken very seriously! Great job guys, once again. :)

so i just change

to

    $forum_ids = array_keys($auth->acl_getf('f_read', true));   
then run install/database_update.php

And change the PHPBB_VERSION constant in includes/constants.php to 3.0.7-PL1
