If your rewrite mod didn't use the phpbb function for build links append_sid() this mod will not work wit it 8-)

All,

I have the same need of reading RRS feeds within Outlook 2003.
I found RSS Popper which enables you to setup login/password for each feed you want to access : in addition to proxy authentification !
However, nothing is pulled front phpBB to Outlook.

Do you have any idea how to set-up authentification issue within phpBB and RRS Feed ?

Thanks,

Michel

phpBB : 3.0.7-PL1
RSS Feed : 1.2.1

phpBB : 3.0.7-PL1
RSS Feed : 1.2.1
If your board have private forums I recomend you use the ATOM feed from 3.0.7-pl1 it include the option to authenticate : :D
There is only one new feature in phpBB 3.0.7:
* Ability to use HTTP authentication in ATOM feeds by passing the GET parameter "auth=http".

Nice MOD author! Tell me, can I display posts from a wordpress site (which isn't owned by me but I have a possible partnership possibility) on my forum with this mod?

No, you can't do that with this mod, it's only for your own phpbb board

Thanks for the mod, working 100%, well except for 1 issue, the RSS icon is not displaying on the forums page. Attached a screen shot

Have purged cache and style.

Board = 3.0.7-PL1
RSS = RSS feed 2.0
Style = Prosilver

EDIT:This problem is solved...
