Mail troubleshooting

Post by sgaucho » Wed Mar 24, 2010 5:28 pm

Hi,

In our forum, all notifications and mails are having problems all of a sudden. The weird thing is the users that have a mail with the same domain name as the forum, receive the mails but no other domain seems to be receving (incl. yahoo, hotmail , gmail etc...)

The notifications were working fine untill a few days back and since then it just stopped..

There are no messages in the error log.

Any suggestions as to what I can check for?

Thanks,
Sg

ACP>>General>>Client Communication>Email Settings>>
E-mail package size:
This is the number of maximum e-mails sent out in one package. This setting is applied to the internal message queue; set this value to 0 if you have problems with non-delivered notification e-mails.
Try setting this to Zero. :)

Unfortunately its not that :(:(:(

I did have a package size of 50, changed it to 0 but no joy...

I tried switching over to SMTP but no joy either....

Any other troubleshooting suggestions??
