hello,
has anyone tried this mod with php 5.30?
I have a blank page with this mod in my local..

Try to enable debug in your config.php

I guess the problem is you do not have the exif-package in your php-installation, as php5.3 is not a reason (works on my local site)

i tried it in local (with wampserver). any error message, only a blank page (the page that the attachment posted in).
i tried too with a proper forum phpbb 306RC2. the same problem again..

but i use this mod in my "live forum". it works fine (with php version 5.0.28)

but dont work...

You just need to know, that not every image has exif-data. The mostly get dropped by image-editors.
