[REQ] RSVP MOD? A simple one for someone to do i think :)

Hi all

I have searched and searched but not found anything suitable...

Im looking for a MOD which in selected forums (maybe 2 or 3 at most) would have the option to add a new bbcode button [Event] (maybe just add this in the custom bbcodes acp)

When clicked, it would insert two or three? buttons into the first post of a topic:
[Attending] [Maybe] [Not attending]

When members click these, just their usernames (linked or not bothered) would appear in a section above the post (much like a poll shows up) in the corresponding sections (Attending, maybe, not attending) They should of course be able to select a different option to change their choice.

I saw the attendance mod but it's way more complex than what i need, and a little to complex for me to be honest!

Id just like a simple and easy to install/use rsvp mod please, would be massively appreciated if anyone can help.

Can anyone help? I wonder if a code similar to the survey mod could be implemented?

I just need something really simple and easy for the moddeer to create! The simplicity would be what could make a mod like this so effective?

Maybe on the posting page of chosen forums, just a button can appear below or within the reply area which the topic starter can click to insert two or three rsvp buttons into their post, or above the post like where a poll/survey appears?

Hi, ive quickly thrown a couple of pics together, i hope they explain what im looking for...it would be a superb addition to my board. I have outlines all changes in RED

This would be the new topic page, which should appear only in selected forums.
As you can see, a simple checkbox would be ideal...When checked/selected the posted topic will then show 3 choices for members...shown on the second image.


So once the topic is posted, and the checkbox above has been selected. It should then show a topic page like this, all the normal reply options etc, but with a section above similar to a poll. This section would have 3 buttons "Yes" "Maybe" and "No" which users can click. When clicked, their username should then appear in the relevant section which would show like the online user list. But they should also be able to click another button to change their rsvp.

I was thinking maybe <if forum id x > statements could be used?

So if the forum posting id is xnumber, it shows the tick box in image 1 above? Then if that is ticked, another <if> statement would post the rsvp shown in image 2 above?
