Update:
Version 0.3.0 will probably be out in a few days, with some basic ACP stuff,
language support, and more.

Hello everyone...
I've got a problem... I've just installed the new version on a board of mine to test it: installing went perfectly but when i tried to log in to chat my list of friend doesn't show people online, it stays on "Loading"...
any solution?

Anyway, thanks for this great mod! :)

i have no problems with the mod... what version of php, phpbb & mysql are you running?!

What version of phpbb are you running?
Last time I installed it with automod on a 3.0.7-PL1 I had no problems.
I'll test with 3.0.8 later.

Hey, I was wondering how I could get the user status to show up elsewhere like in someone's blog or something by using {USER_STATUS}. I kinda want the status to be used outside of memberlist :X

After a little chat with artikkk on the demo board it seems he had a problem with the tables.
He had a different table prefix.
I will make changes in the next version so no problem like no problems like this occur.
Also, I've spotted a bug, after you install the mod. You need to type a message and reload in order to initialize correctly for the first time.

This will be sorted out soon. (I myself haven't tested with IE, 'cause my IE installation is broken :oops: )

You probably have the same problem as artikkk. I guess you're not using the default phpbb_ table prefix.
If that is the case, open up phpbbchat.php, and replace the following:

Find

Code: Select all

phpbb_chat_messages
Inline Replace With

Code: Select all

<your prefix>_chat_messages
Find

Code: Select all

phpbb_chat_status
Inline Replace With

Code: Select all

<your prefix>_chat_status
Please note that there are multiple occurences of these phrases.
