Well ether poyntesm is going to make us wait with anticipation and finally drop a fixed version on us or he has picked up his magic show again and disappeared.

You can download the phpBB Garage 2.0.B5 DEV (712) 10-25-2010 HERE OR HERE
The comments are not working fully yet, but everything else seems to be.
& as always its a beta so I advise not to use on a live board.

Hi there,

I installed this great mod (2.0.B4), but my users are not able to upload images:
Garage Error Occured
Not Authorized

You Have Attempted To Perform A 'UPLOAD' Action.

The Site Administrator Has Configured The Garage Such That Your Combination Of User Level & User Groups Are Not Allowed Perform This Action.
How can I solve this?
This did not help:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p3664315
as there already are $_FILES in use (but no $HTTP_POST_VARS and $_VARS at all).
In the quota setting I have
Vehicle quota: 30
Uploaded image quota: 100
Remote image quota: 5
And for three usergoups (Reg Members, Global Mods and Admins) I have the same settings.

AND

when clicking on Version check I get
{ VERSION_CHECK }
{ CURRENT_VERSION }
{ LATEST_VERSION }

its been quite awhile since i touched any code dealing with my website but i plan on tearing back into this garage code here soon to try and get the profile image to highslide once again.

also i been using the blog feature in the garage quite a bit. a lot of people have stared a 'build thread' on the forum and i think it would be cool (probably a pain in the butt) to code the blog to work with the owners build thread. that way if they were to post a blog entry in the garage it would also update there post in the 'build thread' or vise versa, if they make a post in the thread they would have the option to have it post to the blog.

that way everything can be kept up to date. i know a lot of the members love to keep track of what they did with the car thats why they use the 'build thread' but sometimes it a pain to flip through pages of comments and comments to find that post you were looking for. having it update to the blog i think would be nice that way its all right there.

*shrug* :roll:

I, at one time was thinking that the blog should be "My Build" instead of making a build thread. Also like the Blog MOD have it so it will show in members mini profile on view topic.
At one time I changed all the blog text to "My Build" but I never got around to adding it to the view topic mini profile.
If there is another Garage release, I just might make some custom code for this.

in the garage_profile_integration.html file where it pulls up the hilite image:

Code: Select all

{HILITE_IMAGE}
where is it pulling that hilite image from? that piece of code is also a link that opens the image in a new window. i want to try and turn this into a highslide but i need to find where its calling from. if that makes sense?

edit...
so i went to replace the hilite image code in the profile_integration with the highslide image code i have been using on other pages:

Code: Select all

<a href="{U_HILITE_IMAGE}" title="{HILITE_IMAGE_TITLE}" rel="highslide" onclick="return hs.expand(this)"><img src="{HILITE_IMAGE}" alt="{}" /></a>
but when i click the image it links me to my memberlist page (so it refreshed my profile page) instead of the garage image.

Try this ,the hilit_image is located in the includes/mods/class_garage_vehicle.php

find:

Code: Select all

							$hilite_image .= '<a href=garage.'.$phpEx.'?mode=view_image&type=garage_gallery&image_id='. $gallery_data[$i]['attach_id'] .' title=' . $gallery_data[$i]['attach_file'] .' target="_blank"><img hspace="5" vspace="5" src="' . $thumb_image .'" class="attach"  /></a> ';
replace with:

Code: Select all

							$hilite_image .= '<a href=garage.'.$phpEx.'?mode=view_image&type=garage_gallery&image_id='. $gallery_data[$i]['attach_id'] .' title=' . $gallery_data[$i]['attach_file'] .' onclick="return hs.expand(this)"><img src="' . $thumb_image .'" class="highslide" style="max-width:300px; max-height:300px;" alt="*" /></a> ';
If you need any more highslide edits just ask ;)

i couldnt get that working :\

i just realized...
if a member has more then 1 image uploaded it shows ALL the images in there profile. how can i limit that image to ONLY being the hilite image they use on there garage?

it dont look bad if all the images are the same size but once u get some horizontal and vertical ones mixed in it really kills it, 2 much scrolling for a profile. so i figure one single hilite image would be good there with the link to there garage...

What version of highslide you using ? works fine with 2 or more images apart from the controls are not used to view next pic for some reason.

its just localhost for testing jdm my car forum is long gone :(
The line i edited was line 2423 in includes/mods/class_garage_vehicle.php

here's 2 lines of code before:

Code: Select all

                    	    // Form the image link
							$thumb_image = GARAGE_UPLOAD_PATH . $gallery_data[$i]['attach_thumb_location'];
And there was no need to edit the html file just leave {HILITE_IMAGE} as is ;)
